Hello seventh-grade families, I am so excited to get to know you at A2 STEAM this year! I am an Ann Arbor native (graduated from Pioneer!) who headed off to East Lansing where I earned a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.A. in Teaching and Curriculum at Michigan State University. I have been teaching middle school for nine years and love working with students at this age because of the experience they bring to the classroom and their willingness to accept others' experiences as valid. I spend the summers in northern Michigan at U of M’s alumni family camp where my wife is the assistant director. I love to spend time with my wife and son on the water, go on hikes with my dogs, Lake and Lyla, and try new things in Ann Arbor and elsewhere.
